Sharon Zeron is an experienced educator and small business owner of educational resources with a diverse background in teaching, mentoring, and educational administration in both brick-and-mortar and online K-12 settings. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Connecticut, a Master's degree in Educational Technology from National University, and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Capella University. Alongside her leadership and biology certifications, she also holds a Spanish K-12 certification from the State of Florida.
Sharon’s passion for education and dedication to student success are evident in her leadership and instructional roles, where she fosters a culture of continuous learning and growth. Her proficiency in leveraging technology for enhanced learning experiences and data analysis makes her a strategic decision-maker in the pursuit of educational goals. Sharon's extensive experience includes roles such as FLVS Instructional Leader, OCPS Teacher in Spanish and ESOL, and Assistant Manager Youth Services at the Orange County Library System.
Outside of her career, she enjoys outdoor activities like cycling and traveling with her husband, two children, and three pets.
Amy Aglio has extensive experiences in and out of the education realm in educational community events that have demonstrated her strong planning, critical thinking and problem solving skills. She has 4 degrees; a BA from University of Lincoln (UK), a BA from University of Technology (Australia), a MA from NOVA Southeastern and an EdS from Stetson University. She has 20+ years in administrative and managerial responsibilities which demonstrate her excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. She has owned multiple businesses where she manages big and small projects as the sole proprietor under her Ladybug Services umbrella. The businesses are in industries such as instructional design, curriculum writing in second language acquisition, short and long term rentals, virtual assistant, marketing/social media management, tutoring, translations, fingerprinting and general notary work. She has 17+ years experience in second language acquisition as a teacher, peer teacher, mentor teacher, teacher trainer, professional development, instructional coach, instructional designer, subject matter expert, course builder, trainer, tutor, professor and clinical educator. Most recently, Ms. Aglio worked as a K-12 Assistant Principal over Elementary, World Languages, Electives, ESOL and a brand new program of emphasis in the Hospitality & Tourism field. Her ability to work collaboratively with team members and her highly organized and results driven mentality is a plus to any team. She is looking forward to helping others find their joy in Orlando, Clermont and Sanford!
Cecilia M. Columbus is a highly effective educator, education consultant, empowerment coach, and author with over 13 years of experience in public education. She has served as a certified ESE specialist and inclusion advocate, leading classrooms, coaching educators, and fostering supportive learning environments for diverse student populations. With a passion for equity, healing, and transformation, Cecilia equips women and students to overcome barriers, embrace their purpose, and rise into their full potential.
Dr. Donita Grissom is a Senior Lecturer and ESOL Coordinator in the Multilingual Education Department at the University of Central Florida, where she earned her Ph.D. in TESOL and completed her Master’s in Bilingual Education through Project BEST at UF . Her academic foundation began with a bachelor’s in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Southeast Missouri State University . At UCF, she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in TESOL methods and culture, leads the ESOL Methods course (TSL 4080), and serves as the Ed.D. TESOL specialization advisor. Dr. Grissom’s research focuses on hope theory, social–emotional learning, and instructional strategies for multilingual learners. Beyond her teaching and advising roles, she is an active national and international professional development consultant, keynote speaker and author; recognized as a “hope specialist” and certified life coach.
Latina Nickelson M.Ed is a distinguished educational leader and advocate, bringing over 30 years of experience to advance educational equity and accessibility. As the founder and CEO of SOAR Educational Services, a nationwide educational advocacy organization, she dedicates her practice to guiding families "From Chaos to Collaboration℠" in special education processes. She holds a Master's in Education Leadership & Administration from Concordia University-Portland, maintains certification as a Master IEP Coach® with Wright's Law and COPAA certifications, and specializes in culturally responsive support for children with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, learning disabilities, and behavioral concerns, with particular focus on empowering BIPOC communities in special education advocacy.
As a non-attorney education advocate with extensive knowledge of IDEA law, Ms. Nickelson has served as an expert defense witness in legal cases where the defense prevailed and is currently retained by the Office of Public Defender in Florida and Acceptance Group Home. Her expertise has earned national recognition, including her participation in iHeart Radio's "Education Under Threat: A Forum on the Future of Public Education, Charter Funding, and Special Needs Protections," and her role as a presenter at the 2025 Family Cafe, Florida's largest disability advocacy conference, which drew over 14,000 attendees. Through her extensive speaking engagements and "The Nickelson Project" blog, she continues to champion educational communities, teacher support, and ensuring every student has access to the resources and advocacy they deserve to thrive in their academic journey.
Alexandria Lugo is a dedicated family support specialist, nonprofit leader, and small business owner with a deep commitment to serving families raising children with disabilities. She is the founder of Empowerment Family Services, a family-centered business that offers one-on-one coaching and guidance to parents navigating therapy, insurance, educational services, and community resources for their children.
As a mother of four two of whom are on the autism spectrum Alexandria brings personal experience, compassion, and practical knowledge to everything she does. Her work is rooted in the belief that no parent should have to navigate the complex world of special needs support alone.
In her role as Secretary of the Golden Keys Foundation, Alexandria helps drive the organization’s mission forward with care, clarity, and a heart for advocacy. Her professional expertise includes special education navigation, SSI application support, grant research, and connecting families to the services they need most.
Outside of her professional work, Alexandria enjoys trips to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family and three beloved pets.
